wtf is wrong with the search function???

As per title. I was searching for "Megan header" and nothing came up. I searched for "prelude" and got 3 hits, 0 hits for "mugen"......

????????????????????????

Yes, searched for all thread dates, all forums, all "child forums" etc. I searched again and this thread popped up...... that is it. Anyone else having issues?

Search DB was corrupted... will need rebuilt, which I'm having problems accomplishing right now due to our host restrictions. I am working on it.

when the data base gets corrupt does that mean that we loose data? ie old threads and so forth?

hmmm we moved to a new server and this search problem was fixed right? I still get database error msgs when searching sometimes.
