Serious multiple post bug

Admins, we have a serious bug somewhere, and it needs to be found and fixed. We have had many users in the last 3 months or so end up creating a ton of duplicate threads, and in all cases I have found out afterwards that it was not intentional. This might be a bug in vB, so my request is that you look into it with vB software and try and rule it out. There are other variables too, and I don't yet know if those affect anything.

Please see the Parts Classifieds forum if you want to see what I mean.

I've just run a mysql repair on the database, that might fix the problem.

So there is one thing I can confirm after PMing 3 different people who have been affected by this. When this bug happens, hitting the spacebar produces the same effect as clicking the "post reply" button. Very weird. All 3 users have been running Vista and IE7. I think these programs are partly to blame.

I will keep an eye on it and collect more info when it happens.

Sounds good, it could definitely be a browser compatibility issue
