I've noticed this on multiple occasions. Let's say you perform a search and it lists the results. You then wish to share the results with other users so you link it in a post. The link will work for a short period of time but eventually will return a "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms. " as if the search results time out or something.

It's a normal function of the vBulletin forum to clear the search cache occasionally. I'll extend the value from 15 to 30 days for the sake of the technical forums. In any other case, you'll just have to provide a link to the search page and the terms to search for.
