Noticed that prelude online has been going very slow for me...

What is it? Is it me or is it the server?

the new layout seems to be a good bit slower.. Sure, I am talking about a 3 sec load time.. but it is a lil off...

Even before this new style, the board has been slow for me, too.
Normally I browse the site and open a new window for each post, but the subsequent windows take a while to render, and the text lags behind my keyboard while I'm typing. Other forum sites I browse the same way don't have this problem, and this is new for po.com.
Win98 SE, IE5.5, 1G P3, 128 MB memory.
No spyware/viruses (checked today) and I haven't installed any new software, or made other changes to my system.

Guys with slowness, go into the IE tools|options and click on the advanced tab. uncheck play animations and that fixes the slowness!
