zfr7f-11

I sent an email to NGK last night, regarding BKR7E vs. ZFR7F plugs with nitrous use. I did this because I noticed the ZFR plugs have a longer reach than the BKR plugs.
Here is what they had to say:
Quote:
Sent from NGKHello,

You want the shorter insulator and ground. If you use the ZFR series it
could fatigue and fall into the combustion chamber. The BKR7E is a good
choice.

VehicleType: 2001
Make: Honda
Model: Prelude
Year: 2001
Engine Type: 2.2L I4 DOHC
Comments: I run ZFR6F-11 plugs most of the time, but also run a 50 hp
shot
of nitrous oxide occasionally. In that event, I run BKR7E on the
reccomendation of a fellow Prelude owner. These have been serving me
well.
Comparing the plugs today, I notice the reach of the ground strap and
electrode is much shorter on the BKR7E plug. Would I be better off
locating
ZFR7F plugs?

END OF REPORT

Short version: avoid n2o and ZFR series plugs, as they may break off and fall onto your pistons.

MAybe try running 2 steps colder if you want to keep the zfr plugs.
Here's a pic of the difference in reach.

Just pay more attention to them when spraying.
I doubt they will immediately break off.
Remember, I was asking if staying with the BKR7E was better than tracking down ZFR7F-11, he just told me what I was using was a better choice for a n2o application.
