NX will give you the most gains for the money. If you're strapped for cash, look around for a used kit.

I had a zex kit on my Accord and I loved it..75 shot. The kit was really nice, it was real easy to install and took me about three hours even with calling them for help. I also got their spark plugs. Zex is the only nitrous system manufacturer with specific spark plugs for nitrous or forced induction. They are worth checking out. Don't call ZEX directly to buy it go through a warehouse or dealer, you will get a much better price.

here is my .02 on zex kits.

Installed one on a friend's car. It was the dry kit. The little purple box that houses the sylonoid would fail a bout every other week. Luckily it was the nitrous one that failed, and not the fuel one. This happend about 4 times.

I recently installed a Zex wet kit on a solara. Followed the proper setup procedure to tell the box when WOT was. Tested it, the sylonoid's clicked at full open throttle. Made 2-3 passes on the dyno fine. Went to make one final pass, the box malfunctioned, and started to spray when the throttle plate closed, the pressure built up, and exploded everything behind the throttle plate, and caught the car on fire.

I will NEVER recommend a ZEX kit to anyone. Go NX. Never once have had any issues with them.

that is all.

As far as a single nozzle wet kit is concerned, yes, they are all pretty much the same. The only thing that's going to possibly change is which nozzles are installed, and even that's pretty constant.

The universal wet kit is just fine on a lude, Ive ran one for 3 years, everything has worked as good as the day that i bought it. So, yes, its the best kit. No more complicated than a zex kit honestly, IMO the NX is easier because it is mostly mechanical vs. WOT switches and junk.

I've experienced this with my ZEX kit also when I had it on my Prelude. It was a dry kit and would spray irratically. What I found out was the box got too hot so I had to buy a longer line and mounted the box in a spot where it didn't get too much heat and it worked fine. I could've ran a faster time if the damn thing worked properly because I ran a 14.3 @ 101 mph with it spraying on and off then finally kicked in fully in 4th gear. But yeah, I wouldn't recommend any ZEX kit to anyone. If I were to do it over again, I would've gone with NX because I've heard nothing but good things about them.

I have a zex direct port that I'm about to install we are using a window switch to activate instead of a WOT switch. That maybe an option you want to consider.
