Yummy Nitrous :----)

Hey guys I am going to purchase my Zex nitrous kit this week and I have read a lot about all this nitrous stuff and the zex seems pretty easy to install and operate, is there a catch?? There had to be more to it, like what are the cons of this system and how often do I have to maintain it??? Please give me some pointers

Nope. Its really easy to install and extra easy to operate. But if you put the nitrous bottle in the rear of your car, make sure the line doesn't run across any hot parts like the exhaust pipe. The only maintaince you have to do is refill the bottle.

The only con of the system is that it isn't rebuildable like NOS and NX kits. The only maintenance that you need to do is check your plugs and check your nitrous filter after a couple bottles.

That is what I am looking for, something that doesn't give me a headache, also can't I just run the line inside my car? and put the bottle behind me seat? Oh ya will the bottle fit behind the drivers seat in a 5th gen? Also how often do I have to check my plugs and which plugs should I purchase?

Well the Zex site www.zex.com recommends some plugs to use when installing a new kit. I wouldn't want to run the line inside the car for obvious reasons. Through the side panels maybe but low to the ground.

I ran my lines through the passenger cabin. You can put the bottle in the car if you wan't. but you might fail tech inspection at the track unless you have a blowdown tube. Depending on your height, and how far back you like your seat, I would mount it on the passenger side, I don't think it would fit behind the drive side.

I would seriously just run it outside the car. Oh and Zex is extremely easy to install.

I think another con is the pills arent rated at the wheels.

Nitrous isn't flammable and nitrous leaks aren't explosive.

I would run the line under the car with the fuel lines. Check your plugs after every run.
