will nitrous be ok at 140000 miles

i am just wanting to know if i do everything recomended in the sticky for a 60 shot of nitrous then will it be ok to still use that at 140k miles? I got nology wires ngk cooler spark plug and am planning on retarding my ignition 1 degree. will it be ok at 140k?

There are no guarantees, as a motor with 10k can go down on nitrous. But before you go out and buy anything make sure the motor has good compression to begin with. If it looks ok then have at it, but just remember that it is possible for any motor to go down on nitrous - it just doesn't happen that often.

Yeah, check compression, give her a good tune up, then give her a try.....worst that will happen is blowing it up, and your gonna need a rebuild sooner or later anyhoo!

i wouldnt do...the h22a will be fine with nos until around 150k but its true how well you have taken care of it....

Anyways, you are taking a risk on any motor by running nitrous. There are no guarantees, period.

If the engine doesn't burn oil, has good compression and good fuel pressure, I wouldn't be worried if it were mine. Proper setup is key, without it, no engine stands up to nitrous well.
