Where in Texas?

Anyone know of a good place to get a Nitrous kit installed around San Antonio/College Station/ Houston , TX area? I live in SA town but go to school in College Station. Any ideas?

Also, where is a good place to buy kits online?

I want a nice and kinda high tech install. In addition to the basic kit, what else could I buy (i.e. remote bottle opener, etc) to make the install as nice and safe for my car as possible? Good places to buy and do research?

Thanks

I love you guys here on PO. Single handedly saved me time and money with DYI information. I was about to send my stupid DC sports header in to get fixed the engine mount bracket was cracked and made a nasty rattle. But I did some reading and found out I could just take that puppy off and cut the bracket off. NO down time for car that way! I love the search function. I use it for everything. Probably why I just lurk and dont post. No need to post.

You might want to ready the stickies in this forum to see what kind of kit does what and what you need to run it safely. I personally am getting the NX single fogger kit with the genx2 accessory kit. Our sponsor afterhourz has great prices on NX kits so give them a look. I would highly recommend getting the accessories like purge, bottle warmer, pressure gauge, etc. If you have $$ though the remote bottle opener would be cool too. I dont know any places in TX though. Sorry.

Ya, Ive read all the stickies (several times).
I dont plan on going over 75, and probably just stick with 50 shot. Are single fogger kits better/safer then dry kits? The sticky kinda leaves you hanging on the real conclusion on the dry vs fogger question. I think I am leaning to the single fogger.

And as far as safety euipment goes, I am not talking the bare minimum (plugs for 50 shot). I kinda want to know what is the optimal set up from a safety aspect.

A wet kit will be safer than a dry kit, but then again I haven't heard of many problems from dry kits. PM afterhourz for an nx kit, they have great prices. For a 50 shot the safest setup would be 1 step colder plugs and possibly an ignition to retard your timing, but retarding your timing isn't really necessary for a 50 shot. You can get away with 1 step colder plugs on a 75 shot, but I would recommend retarding your timing a few degrees.

I left the sticky open-ended because there is no real conclusion. I've seen guys spray a 125 shot dry without a problem, I've seen people detonate on a 50 shot Zex kit, and I've found detonation when I sprayed a 65 shot through a wet kit. It depends on how you set it up. If you don't set it up right it won't run well.
