I am too work good for me. I dunno what the deal was I think I just got a bad plug or 2 or something because I checked the gap and all but I ran the ngk 1 step colder coppers and my car ran like crap off the bottle and not nearly as good as now on as well. Not to say that many many people dont use them and work great.
I have had great luck with the platinum NGK's that came stock in my car for more than two years. Have run 50. 60.70 dry shots and also 85 DP. It all depends on any given setup. Colder plugs are recommended for safety, but obviously it is not always necessary.

I think so to, but then again why take the risk. Maybe he should should just run his car with the stock plugs and nitrous and then check the plugs and go from there.
Definately want to check the plugs after your first run, no matter what plugs you decide to try. I just suggest stock from experience, that and if you can get away with using them, you'll keep performance to it's best, both on and off the bottle.
I'd try the stock plugs with a 50 shot. I was running one step colder NGK's with my 50 shot because I was paranoid. I had no problems but when the temperature dropped my car ran like crap and took awhile to warm up. You MUST check your plugs after the first run and I'd suggest after every run or two to be safe.
