used NX kit

Guy is upgrading his acura with a turbo, so he is ditching a NX dry kit, does'nt have a purge valve, thats all I know for the moment. Yeah, its vague, but he wants $250. I'm asking it there is anything I should look out for other than worn out solinoid things. Thanks for your time.

verify the size of the jets don't take someone's word on it, if this is your first system, just a tip when you install your bottle make sure the sticker side is up or even better make sure that your braided stainless line is facing down, this makes sure that you get your liquid Nitrous in the system if there is an anti-siphon kit on it.

Purge kits are worth the money.

check. thanks. depending on how it looks and what its got I may just wait another week and get complete direct port w/ the purger so I dont have to upgrade later on.

PS yeah, nitrious systems are new to me. Fast cars are not. Imports are. I read the daggone newbie thread. And then some. I'll try to get pics of my lude on lude online.

Dry should be sufficent for the time if you have the money for a direct port setup then by all means go for it It has a better mixture and is faster engageing than the dry, not that you'll really notice a "Lag" its really marginal. If your stepping right up to the 75shot be sure to pick up some colder plugs, otherwise you'll get a crazy flashing check engine light that can be alarming. Welcome to the Club, you won't be disappointed with your prelude I'm sure.

to my understanding, NX doesn't make dry kits...

NX solonoids are some of the best out there. When you connect it all up, put your ear up close them, and make sure you don't hear any hissing. If you do, the seals might be bad, and is letting nitrous/fuel pass even tho the system is closed.

When installing, just take your time, and double check all your work. Not worth messing something up for a rushed install.

Get a purge.

Also check all the fittings, and lines for defects

Hey all

Obviously, new to the site and cyber wheelin. Feel like I started somthing that I did'nt finish fish in this forum as far as nitros goes. Paycheck rolled, wanted the nitros, but apparently I romped too hard on new X drilled rotors and old calipars and pads. Metal on metal is no good. That happened.. Ordered new calipars for the rear where that problem was, set back #1. That was a few weeks ago. Today my clutch goes to the floor easy and I cant shift. Right now debating stock VS centerforce clutch which can handle 300 street HP. In addition, keeping this rice burnin prelude is debatable, I deploy in Jan. come back in Aug. W/ bout 10 large. I want somthin rear wheel so I can kick the ass end out. Muscle is where the heart is. Bouncin between having two cars one street ( the lude) and one speed (the stripped trans am). The prelude is fun to drive on boil, it is very rev happy, but.. I dont mean to disrespect on a lude site but. However comma front wheel drive has obvious disadvantages. I'm not drift infested either.

Either way, need the lude back on the road, center force clutch VS stock. Who knows. This car allready has some sentimental value so I might keep it and slap a turbo on it next year. I realize its hard to give advice to someone who is not sure what they want. Just explaining the situation. Thanks for your time.

Perhaps your better off taking the 10g use what you need to out of in on personal expenses, dump the rest on a down payment on a S2k, sell the lude for fundage on a vortech supercharger that'll get you all the rear stepout you can handle for the street. I think that they have a 4.?? something rear diff ratio from the factory. With a supa charger bumping the output to roughly 300whp or better that outta keep you smiling for a while.

Who the **** are you, and why are you not able to post in a current thread?

The least you could do is actually say something marginally intelligent, rather than "yah fast!"
