Symptoms of a slipping clutch...

I think my clutch is slipping, thats why I dont feel the new 65 shot at all.

Ok I just got new wheels and tires, and i setup my kit to run a 65 shot. I went to a light, armed it and when the light when green I gunned at about 3500rpm. The car definitely picked up but the moment it seems like I was gonna really start picking up I didnt. Basically instead of the engine climaxing it just plateaued. I got out and immediatly checked the plugs, no detonation.

Do you think i need a new clutch? I never had a problem when I had my 55 shot, but I also didnt have these new tires on. The other tires I could spin alot on the pavement, these dont seem to even chirp.

Thanks

So right after you shift your rpms keep shootin up but you arent accelerating? If this is the case then your yes your clutch is slipping.
