Unless you have a compression tester (not too expensive, get it at Sears if you want) you gotta take it to a mechanic and they will do it for probably $50....not very expensive, and any turd burglar of a mechanic do perform one.....
go get the compression tool yourself and its really easy to do...that way you can do a test whenever you want...its like 30 bux at sears and that way you get to keep the tool instead of spending 30 bux to have it done for you once.
