I did, and I apologize. I don't get your backed into a corner reference though.

I also apologize for asking a nitrous question in a nitrous section. I should have known better. Or even asking a question about H22's at a Prelude forum. Totally out of line on my part.

WTH!!!! No offense to nurburSTIG...u got called out. BUt tee-dot....wtf? Seriously a guy posted a question and instead of answerin or tryin to u barge into the thread trash talkin the 1st post u see. I mean really how hard is it to be constructive? As to the OP...Im no expert but im about to thro w a wet 75 shot on my h22a. All my research has shown that after a 75 shot the NO2 seems to focus primarily on cylinder 1 vs disperssing to all cylinders. Now my research isnt that exstensive (about 2 solid months worth) but ive found the same results over n over. This is using a fogger system. Using Direct port Ive seen most guys runnin 100 shots and a few scattered 125 shots. Me personally...75 shot on stock internals....save to build block (sleeves, rods, piston) then im gonna build head and 150 shot. that should be plenty lol. Hope some of this helped

Their is a balance to be made between engine power and how long you want your engine to last .Your answer is 200 hp if you want your engine to last a long time. Your engine I guess at the present time is over 9 years old so you better think real hard about that fact before you start banging your engine with NOS.Its so sad to see Preludes go to the automotive Heaven for reasons other then accidents and normal wear and tear.Just to introduce some reality here, this is what it sounds and looks like when you F your engine after trying to do it to a BMW M3!

100 shot all day long on a stock h but of course something eventually is bound to go wrong lol. My buddy has a heavy ass foot and has to pop vtec every chance he gets but his motor lasted a very long time. I ran a 120 shot on a built head stock bottom end that lasted as well. Best bet is to get it tuned to be sure a/f is good.

Thanks for the information. Sounds like you've had experience in this department.
It would be for the track only (1/8). Although with a proper tune and setup I would probably be going to numerous tracks every week, running the crap out of it. Of course that would only be after I was able to use the added HP efficiently. I still have HF brakes and suspension, so 250+ would be ridiculous to try to put down in a car that weighs less than 2,000lbs.

Lol i had that setup in my race car making 305 hp with gsr front brakes weighing in at 1790 with me in the car trapping high 9x mph on the 1/8 stopping with no problem. With my turbo setup in the 1/4 501 hp in the same car trapping at 135 I still was able to stop just fine. I think u will be fine just take the furthest turn out at your track
