Yep. You could just pull the valvecover and inspect the valves. That way you'll know for sure what's up.
Even though i just had a valve adjustment? Do you mean pull the head and see if the valves seat flush when closed?

did you have your valves after you noticed the compression drop, or before? You might pull the valve cover anyways and take a gander and make sure it isn't anything obvious, but if everything looks ok you might have a bent valve or it might not be seating correctly. If either is the case you will have to pull the head, which is a lot more complicated than just pulling the valve cover off.

I had the check before and then 2 months after the adjustment. I can pull the head myself, but i don't want the downtime. This royally sucks....just when i'm getting ready to get my nitrous kit.

You need to get the car running properly with good compression before you start spraying or else you'll be looking at new motors in a month. Figure out why you have low compression in two cylinders, and if that means pulling the valvecover to inspect the valves or pulling the head then by all means do it. It might just be that you are losing some compression at the headgasket, but either way you need to get it fixed before you spray.
