Spraying towards filter instead of Throttle Body...

On clubrsx I saw a member post that an "OG" member suggested that he spray towards the filter for a better distribution of the nitrous and fuel. To me it would make more sense just to place the nozzle the correct way and futher away from the tb if better distribution is your goal. Is there any validity to his statement?

LMAO, spraying fuel towards the filter would almost guarantee a backfire, which could potentially damage your intake, IM, etc. Not to mention how dangerous it would be to have the filter element soaked with fuel. The fogger nozzle is designed to atomize the fuel and nitrous and to distribute the nitrous evenly in the intake tubing. Tap the intake 8" from the TB and you'll be fine. Personally, I'd be more worried about the distribution in the intake manifold. Someone should do a flowbench test of each intake runner to see if they are all equal.

it might benefit a dry shot (not likely with competent nozzle design), but like kris said, on a wet shot, it's just inviting a huge backfire!
move it farther from the tb if you're that concerned about distribution.

$10 says that the fuel got there before the nitrous did, plugs fouled, motor died.

I am pretty sure, the guy is just saying with a dry fogger kit, is he not. but there would be no advantage, only disadvantages in my opinion, because you are going to lose a huge amount of nitrous, before it gets back to your intake, because there is alot more pressure, coming out of your jet, then there is coming in through your intake. Try holding onto your N20 line while someone hits the button, if your not, careful it will shoot out of your hand. definately stronger than the incoming air.
