A solution to my noid eating JNMM?!!??!

Just found out about this company:

http://www.highpower.freeserve.co.uk/

They are quite pricey, but if these noids can take the abuse the JNMM dishes out, I may just give up the 2 stage plans. Supposedly makes NOS, NX, all others in fact, look like junk.

I wonder how much those noids cost to ship to US or Canada.

But, they should work for you wreck.

Did you call NOS about the Cadnium seals and plungers? I made absolutely sure that they understood that I needed whatever they sent to me to be able to stand up to a JNMM.

NOS flat out told me that their noids wouldn't hold up to the JNMM. Out of 5 failures: 3 were the seals, 2 were the coils. So I am inclined to believe the tech I talked to, although I have no faith in NOS tech support anymore.
As far as getting the Pulsoids, member Jape is now stationed in England, I have emailed him to check them out. We'll go from there. Will keep you posted.

By the way, has anyone else noticed that Jacobs no longer has the JNMM on their site?

I know for a fact that people use progressive controllers with beefed up NOS noids. Do you know if the tech was talking about the super powershot noids or the entire line of NOS noids?

Super Powershots were what we were talking about, but he never offered a solution to my question. Would think if maybe other NOS noids were better suited to the task, that he would have recommended an upgrade. but then again, that talk is assuming that the tech knows anything (not very evident in any of my phone conversations with them) I've just had it with NOS---- lousy support, if you can get any at all. They absolutely do not answer emails, and a phone call is luck of the draw.

I've had some bad experiences with them and some good. Usually I offer up suggestions and then ask them if they will work. You may want to call NOS up again and ask if their Cheater solenoid would hold up to the abuse of a JNMM and whether or not you need to buy their high powered coil or beefier seals to make it work. If they don't have a solenoid that can stand up to a progressive controller ask them why they sell the damn things then.

I called NX about this and they told me that they design their noids with progressive controllers in mind (at least their progressive controller). They guaranteed their noids would hold up....Just extra info if you needed it.......

I just asked him if noids get toasted with the actuation from a progressive controller and he said pretty much. Then he said the NX noids are beefy in order to handle the extra load. "Designed with their controller in mind" he said. Call them, Im sure they will tell you the same thing.

So did we ever find out if NOS make's some noids that can handle a controller? Cause when I upgrade to DP, I want to make sure i get the right noids, changing out noids every few runs would suck. Whats the word?

When I was in TX I talked ot the NX guys. He said that their noids will withstand a progressive controller. They are using some funky silicon compound now.

Not unless you get some stronger seals, such as the one's made of cadnium.
