Recommendations on a NOS kit for me.

Im quite new to NOS. But I am in the process of doing a NA buildup with a NOS shot. I have seen the kits where u can adjust the shot from 50-150. This seems to be of a big interest to me.

Also I have seen these adds on a product called the NOSzle. Its some kind of adaptor where you fit the injector into an adaptor that flows NOS in directly with the fuel so no drilling or mods are needed. Any good??

Whats a good brand?? What to look for?? I just want an easy to use, setup and tune system. Price isnt a concern.

My engine managment is an AEM EMS.

first... do you want a NOS kit or a nitrous kit? I am confused about what you mean. I am not trying to be a smart ass, just curious since your post seems to tie in NOS as a general term.

There are a bunch of nitrous kits out there. NX, ZEX, VENOM, NOS, each has there own advantage. No one on this forum has tried the new NOSzle system that NOS makes, you could be the first. Is NOS the specific kit you are interested in?

If you want to go with a shot over 75, most people on this forum will recommend you get a Direct Port kit. This will make running the higher shots much safer for your engine then dry or wet kits.

For a shot 75 or under, Zex would be the easiest install (its dry), NX kits put the most power to the wheels (wet i think) and NOS is the leader basically in nitrous kits... everyone knows that. Venom is a whole new level, i recommend asking MJShelgosh about that.

Good luck

Ok, you're going to want a wet kit for more precise tuning. What size shot do you want?

I dunno the number, just get the one for the prelude (if your going with a single fogger) or get their generic Direct Port kit if your going down that road. If you are running a big shot than go with the DP. I got the single fogger and I love it. You will need a purge valve and a bottle heater, and a guage for the N20 psi.

If you are running a SC stay away from that large of a shot of nitrous. I can see a JRSC and a 75-150 workng together. I don't know what the effect of a SC and nitrous is but it is a SC is a mutiplier. If yuo want just NA with nitrous then nitrous loves high compress and lots of fuel. If I had the cash to do two setups just get one. Get a very well built motor and run a turbo at high boost levels. Nitrous is nice but it is poor mans horsepower. When I make a nitrous run and then run off the bottle it is pretty sad. I know that an HP member was running a 12.5 with a 100+ shot on a built motor but all the time driveability would be my focus. Just a thought.
