RE: correct dia. size ex. piping for my prelude's setup
setup in the sig. so what do you guys think? is 2.5" over kill or is 2.25" better?

2.5 will be fine. We run that on NA cars anyways. 3" would be overkill.

It is your cal. I feel 2.25 is a better choice over 2.5 unless you are feeding the motor with a larger throttle body and some aggressive cams.
