Rain Sheild Removal

Is there anything to it? I want to move secure my noids better, and need to remove the rainsheild to do it.

just gotta take the whipers off and then its just some misc clips that hold it on. Its pretty easy just take the whipers off and you'll see.

Yea, but did you break the clips that hold it down near the windsheild? I didnt know about them, and pulled up, which broke those clips. Might have to have Honda replace them when I do my 60k mile service thing.

These arent the ones that are under the rubber gasget, they are actually part of the rainsheild, they clipped it down to hold it nice and tight against the window. The other clips were fine.

Nope, cause the blip was part of the rain sheild. I wonder how much a new rainsheild would cost?

i didn't break any of those pins that hold it against the windshield, but I was using a screwdriver to get them off and I cracked the corner of the windshield which has since spread into a nice little crack.

If you don't mind having a hunk of the rainshield missing just take an angle grinder and cut some of it away. That way it is easy to service your noids and wiring.
