Question about spraying...

Ive been using the nitrous more lately... and like usual I just got out looking for kills when I have free time.

Anyway... the nitrous is working great for the most part, but it seems that as soon as I am about to shift (within 500 rpm of my normal racing shift point) the nitrous just doesnt pull anymore and I feel like I am running N/A until I shift to the next gear. Then i get in the new gear and it pulls hard again until 500rpms before i shift again.

Any ideas what this is, or does anyone else ever have this feeling?

Im still whooping RSX-S' like crazy, but I feel like i am missing some action.

Is it possible that you are anticipating the next upshift by easing up on the throttle enough to make the switch close? I know sometimes it's hard to keep the pedal tight to the floor when the redline is rapidly approaching. Just an idea.

i was thinking that is a possibility, but I dont think I would continuously do that when I am expecting it to happen. I feel like i would keep the pedal down.

you should adjust your switch to activate at 90% throttle or so.....see if that helps.....you should make good power all the way to redline no problem. I guess you could dyno it and see whats up.....

What type of nitrous system? If using zex, or any other that uses the wide open throttle wire, you must have the pedal to the metal.

Does the zex kit have a fuel pressure safety switch?
