question on 60 shot dry nos

ok I read the newbie sticky post about nitrous... and it said:

60 shot - you need the colder plugs and you will want to retard your ignition timing by a degree or two. You may want to look into getting an aftermarket ignition and spark plug wires.

Now is this necessary for the dry kit as well? I just installed the kit, and would like to know if i need to perform these as well, before too much spraying. Thanks

that is pretty much a summary for any kind of kit, wet or dry.

they are precautions, if you take them all you will be in the best shape to spray. If not then you are more likely to run into a problem down the road.
