push button on a dry zex 50 shot

Hi guys and girls.

Just wanted to know if you can put a push button on a zex system.
I am looking at getting the system that links into the TPS and engages at WOT. However I don't really want it spraying everytime i floor it... also i think the push button would be fun

Any help is muchly apreciated

you also need an activation switch....

But yes, it is possible to use a push button... alot of 1/4 milers use the horn as a direct activation switch...

V/r,
Mike

thats why you wire a switch BEFORE the TPS sensor so you can control when the solenoids will open and close.

well it would take time for the nitrous to hit the intake, but other than that, its pretty instant

http://www.zex.com/Base/Instructions/ZEX109.pdf

Here are the installation instructions for the Zex dry kit, it uses the management box as a solenoid. If you wired a push-switch (horn button for example) in series with the white TPS wire, it won`t read the TPS signal until you have the button depressed. If you wired it in to the arming switch, I think it would take longer for the system to turn on, possibly self-check, and arm, then activate. F&F style!
