Purge tubing, and also I can't loosen AN fitting :(
First question, am I able to get the copper tubing at places like home depot? I already have the tube nut and the tube sleeve from the one it came with, but the tubing is just too short to reach the windshield so I wanted to get longer tubing.
And also, I have a T fitting on my solenoid and I need to remove it, but man it seems like it's stuck there. It has that teflon paste on it, is there anything I can do to loosen it up?

Yeah you can get the piping from hardware stores. I think places like Hobby Lobby and craft shops have small pipes that would work as well. For the paste stuff I would use GOOF OFF or something similiar to loosen it up. Just dont use too much and get it inside the solenoid or anything.
Goof off is probably like goo gone. I'll give that a try. Do I need a ferule? WRECKDRIVER told me that I might need one, but I think ferule = tube sleeve.. not sure though. The end of the tubing also seems to curve outward (like the end of a trombone) so that it won't slip. Does it come like that? or do I just hammer it to make it do that?

The tip gets wider. There's the sleave under it, and the nut further down the tube more.

The little piece closest to the flared end of the pipe is the ferrule. Pipe sleeves are a bit different but serve the same function. NOS purge kits come with ferrules that look like slightly oversized BBs.
I see, so I could just use the pipe sleeve instead, and bend the end of it myself?

The sleeve just slides all over the place, but I can't pull it out of the flared end. Since the tube is bent, the only way I can get that sleeve off is to cut the tube.
