purge button

anyone know if there is a button that looks like the emergency flashers one that could be used as a purge? i wanted to mount it next to my emergency flasher one and put a different label on it...but it's a push on, push off button. does honda have one that will fit the stock location next to it on my 94 console?

i want it to look as close to stock as possible

Any button/switch will work. You could prolly buy an actual hazard switch from your local honda dealership and use it. Autozone has a lot of switches and buttons also... you might want to check them out, even though they're turning into a rice store.

^ actually, now that they are a rice store, their selection of switches and buttons has greatly improved.

MNludeDVR, you could probably get a factory hazard switch and pop it open to remove the catch that keeps it from being a momentary button.

oh, so there is just a catch that allows it to be a push on, push off switch? i was at hondaautomotiveparts.com and saw that the hazard switch is 45 bucks! anyone know if that same size switch came in any other common car i'd find at a junkyard? the yards around here don't have any 4th gens in them

I'd just mount the normal purge button in some place that is not noticeable. I have it in my coin tray on my 5th gen and it has never been seen by anybody unless I show them.
