in practice: the progessive controller?

i'm curiosu how the progressive controller works (in practice, not trying to dig up the details of how the mechanism was put together). basically, does it keep upping the shot continually based on time? speed? gear? etc...

thanks

There are several "modes" of controller. All actuate the solenoid to fit the "program". The first kind is time based whereas you set your time frame (say 7 seconds) and it injects the N20 from 0 to 100% in that designated frame. There are RPM based that basically do the same thing.....X rpm X %........Y Rpm = 100%. There is some variation to these also. You can set them to whatever....set start times and stop times/rpm. They can also control dual stages, but honestly with a progressive controller you dont really need more than one stage (with a 4 cyl at least).

What he said. NOS also makes time delayed relayed switches that automatically change stages for you. It's a nice idea but in a manual car with a WOT switch the thing would keep resetting itself so you'd never get out of the 1st stage unless you were using a push button activation switch coupled with an arming switch.
