Picking up NOS kit thursday...

Im finally gettinga NOS kit, but I have a 97 5thgen with 91K miles on it. I am wanting to run a 25 shot or something small. What do you guys recommend is safe to run with that many miles, and what else should I get checked out changed along with this installation?

-compression check
--be sure all 4 cylinders are within 20% of each other...
--180+ numbers are good (but in theory as long as they are close, you'll be fine)

-no need to run colder plugs (you're only running a 25 shot )

-no need to retard ignition (you're only running a 25 shot )

-no need for fuel system changes (you're only running a 25 shot )

any questions?

What about my fuel filter, never changed it out before.

If I dont have to change anything with a 25 shot, then I might go up to a 45 shot...what then...

same lol

and are you feeling any hesitation? feel like the car's falling on its face? seem sluggish (SS's need not apply )

then I doubt it's your fuel filter but change it regardless haha

Definately do a compression check, but they should be within 7% of each other, 20% is way to much differance. You should seriously consider spraying atleast a 40shot. You wouldnt hardly notice a 25shot.
