NX Install

Hey guys I started installing my NX kit yesterday, but didnt have enough time to get it all done. So far I have everything done except for wiring all the switches and wiring the solenoids.

I know that for some of the switches you need to connect them to a 12v switched power source. Can you tell me in detail exactly where you connected them to. After that I should be ready to spray. Thanks for the help.

Use the empty slot in the cars fuse box, or you can use the main power block under the hood (located near cruise control unit). Just be careful splicing into things

Can you use one port in the spare fuse bay by the drivers foot and branch it out for all your needs or no?

I was wondering this also. I'll probably finish up the install tomorrow.

There is an accessory port in the fuse panel that is switched. I used that to power my switches.

OK I'm an idiot I guess. I assume you guys are talking about the fuse box down by the trunk pop and stuff. Can someone describe in detail exactly where and how I connect the wire down there. Thanks.

yep, that is the area we are talking about. I have my JDM fogs plugged into an accessory port there and I just spliced off that wire. If you don't have anything plugged in there you could just pull your bezel around your radio out, and splice into the cigarette lighter. That is a switched source, and is close to your coin holder if you want to put your switches there.
