NOS bottles

do all of NOS's 10 lb bottles have the safety pressure release valve on them? i purchased my bottle used and i was just wondering if it had that....

yes EVERY bottle should have it... cuz of safty reason... it slowly release if pressure is to high to handle...


if u look at ur bottle 1 end is for n20 lines the other end should b the safety pressure release vavle.... thats how it looks on my nx bottle n my nos bottle....


mine tellin me how much i got the bottle alone for???
im thinkin bout sellin my NOS (blue) 1 filled... so i wanna see how much i can get out of it..

actually, it was out of a used kit that i bought so i'm not too sure on how much they'd be alone

the valve is actually a burst disk. When the bottle pressure exceeds what the burst disk will hold, the disk will blow out and you will lose all of your n2o in a matter of seconds. you can also get a blow down tube to vent all the n2o out of the vehicle if you are in the same air space as the bottle. I imagine when the burst disk goes the n2o comes out violently, so be carefull when choosing where to mount your bottle.
