Thinking of buying a 3rd gen as a DD and have always wanted a Nitrous system for fun. Proabably a Zex since they seem to market themselves as the safest. Would I be insane to do, say a 50 shot, in a 150K+ 'lude?
No nitrous system is really "safer" than another. Every nitrous kit runs on the same nitrous and uses the same concepts. The biggest factor that seperates nitrous systems apart is the solenoids.
The first thing you would want to do is check the compression of your motor. If is below minimum spec and varies more than 10% between cylinders, I wouldn't introduce it to nitrous. Browse through the stickies up top so you can get a feel for what all is out there and what is required.
