dont mean to ask a dumb question but is it poosible to make ur own purge with hardware store parts, even if it was an in cab manual knob type deal. just dont hav the extra money at the moment and would like to put one on instead of having to disconect everytime.....sorry if this is stupid but thought it would even be cost effective and hav searched with no results. thanx

i wouldnt...you could find a used purge for about $100ish.

I dont even have a purge. i just revv the motor and make sure and hit the nitrous switch a couple of times. Purges it fine.

wish i could do that i got the zex kit. it just sucks to have to get out of the car but i guess thats what i'll do untill i have extra to get one

All you really need; is:
-4AN "TAP" Connector: Gauge adapter fitting for Nitrous or fuel rails lets you mount your gauge adapter to the gauge. Simplify installation of gauges and adapters. Fuel rail adapter fitting. - Gauge adapter fitting for Nitrous or fuel rails -- $16
Nitrous Solenoid: Nitrous and fuel solenoids for nitrous oxide kits and sysetms. Nitrous solenoids control nitrous flow in a nitrous oxide system. Manufracturer direct solenoids for nitrous use. - Nitrous and fuel solenoids for nitrous oxide kits and sysetms -- $59
Coupler (Soldnoid to above connector: DynoTune Product, 516-1/8" npt to 1/8" npt coupler - DynoTune, Nitrous systems, Purge kits, Nitrous Bottle heaters and more! -- $4
and last, not really needed, but; a purge hose; that you can pickup from a local hardware store- 1/8" NTP Male connector, to some copper tubing; to direct the purge away from the solenoid...

For a switch; a $1 radioshack 5amp switch will work fine

Personally; mine is a bit more in-depth; but that is the basics.
