Nitrous pressure gauge

I just wanted to know if the pressure gauge that comes with the NX Gen2 accessory kit is electric or mechanical. I have read on here that electric is better to use. I want to have an a/f and pressure gauge in an a pillar. Would this pressure gauge work without having to run the nitrous line inside the car?

It is a mechanical guage, and it mounts right near the bottle valve. Personally, I don't worry about pressure so much since I have the bottle heater. The heater makes sure that it is at the right pressure. I just take a quick glance at it before I run, it has a red, yellow and green section, as long as you are green you are good.

this is one place where a mechanical guage isn't bad. It mounts right on the bottle, not anywhere near where you are sitting. You don't have to worry as much about leaks since you are a ways away from the bottle. Now if you wanted to run a guage in the cabin an electrical is the only way to go. I mounted my bottle in my trunk so I could see the pressure guage with he rear seat down, and at a glance I know where it is at. Here is a pic of how my bottle is mounted.

Bottle mounted nitrous gauges are good, and AF gauges are BS. get the nitrous gauge, a fuel pressure gauge, and a dyno pull. If you want to keep an eye on your AF get a wideband O2 sensor.
