need reasurance

i have my zex kit just sitting here waiting to be fitted but to be honest im worried about fitting it as ive heard too many posts like this.

"i sprayed with a 75 shot from a zex system(dry). i bought everything that you think and could read about to prevent engine failure. it didnt work. i upgraded the fuel system(pump, rail, frp) ign system(coil, crane box, wires, colder plugs, vafc tuned and all your basics, i/h/e, pullies, etc.

hey it worked 3 times!!!... i've read it over and over,... build it before you blow it. it couldnt be much simpler then that. i didnt abuse the system or spray for more then a few seconds at a time. some people have sprayed their cars for a few years but in my case it was different. BOOM!! good luck with your modding."

and i bought a zex kit because i thought it was supposed to be the safest

I have been through about 5 bottles with my NOS dry kit with no big problems, except for the plugs I destroyed, but no engine damage.

just be smart, dry kits are usually not as safe as wet kits, but dry kits do have their advantages.. i have been spraying for years.. a 200+shot on a sbf with cast pistons.. like i said.. don't be stupid.. start slow.. check your plugs, don't ever skimp on the octane.. for a dry kit, keep plenty of fuel pressure.. good luck.. and it's well worth it

Been using my NOS dry kit for over a year and 10+ bottles. Not a single problem with the 50 shot, 1 step colder plugs, stock timing.

Almost all of the time, a blown motor from nitrous was caused from carelessness or ignorance.

Do it right, it will last (no motor building necessary).
