my type s plan. will it work?

I want to buy a type s motor and shoot 100 shot of nitrous into it. it has the type s tranny. I'll just do basic vafc, pullies, cam gears, mugen header, and a direct port nitrous system. how will the type s tranny and motor handle that kind of juice?

If you don't detonate it won't blow. It's not the safest way to go about it though. Personally, I'd buy a basic H22 and build that up.

crud... so my best bet is to rebuild my current engine up to par. with high comp pistons? how much does a valve job cost and what different kinds are there and whats the difference (3 angel, 5 angle etc.) what does a valve job do to

With running a shot over 75 (or 100 crank horsepower) or so you should look at getting forged pistons. Problem being is that you will also have to sleeve the block, so it just keeps adding up. I guess it kinda depends on what kind of kit you plan on running. Since NX is rated at the wheels their shot sizes are under rated, so a 75 whp shot of NX is about the equivalent of a 100 shot of NOS. You can get away with a 100 horse shot at the crank, but anything more and you should consider a build.

If you are going to run typeS pistons then you will want to retard your timing more than you would with a USDM motor due to the compression increase. But as long as you don't detonate then you should be safe for a 100 horse shot at the crank.

Im gonna dyno a NX 50 and see my AF before going up higher.....i suggest you do the same......you gotta ask yourself is the extra 25 in nitrous worth the extra 1500 bucks in the build........I went the cheap way because ill be happy with the power im gonna make.....it will be faster tyhan most hondas which is enough for me....
