I haven't put on the n2o kit yet, I was just about to put colder plugs in, and I saw that they are white and have white specks. They are about 3 months old. and they're NGK stock ones. What could be the problem? and what can I do about it? I haven't ran a compression test yet. My webcam won't focus upclose, so I can't really take a pic. help me!

white/cream specs are ash from burning oil and/or fuel additives. the only time they can become a problem is when the buildup is thick enough to mask the spark. Detonation shows up in little black specs on light detonation, and then aluminum specs will show up under heavier detonation. All of this is on the white ceramic portion around the electrode.
ok.. but it probably shouldn't be doing this with stock timing right? I guess it's fine, maybe I'm looking at it wrong. I called a honda tech and he says that it should be fine.

I haven't even installed the kit yet. and I can't get pics because my cam doesn't focus up close... I will try to get some pics somehow.

Ok here are some bad pics.. but you can see the arm is white, and there are little white specks on the center. The VERY center black piece doesn't have any white specks on it though.
What should I do? Get my timing adjusted? I don't even have the kit on so I mean... think of what will happen once I get the kit on. I put in 1 step colder plugs so.. I guess I can check up on those in 2 days.

it seems like they look like the first one. So I guess I'm good.

The only thing is.. the site doesn't show what happens if you are running too lean. Which could be a problem, but mine shouldn't be bad... right?
