My chat with NX...

Well it turns out that my girl in TX has a little brother, who knows the owner of NX's son from school. I showed her brother around my car and showed him how the nitrous kit works. On Tuesday I was putting my nitrous noid back in at the girl's house and realized that I forgot to bring an inline nitrous filter. So my girl takes me over to one of NX's distribution centers and I get the filter. Before I left I talked to the guy there about NOS seals.
As usual I *****ed about my rubber powershot seals and he agreed that they were crap. Then I brought up the cadnium seals that NOS sent me to run this season. He said that NX had used them for a while, but that if you get any trash on them they won't seal right and some nitrous will leak by.
Now NOS told me this and said to take care of it by starting the car up before I open the bottle. That way the nitrous won't build up in the motor and blow it when I fire the car up.
The NX guy goes on to say that they are now using a new silicon compound that will take the abuse of progressive controllers, but will still seal properly even if a bit of trash gets on the seal. Granted, the guy was biased but it was some good information.
I'll have a review of the NOS cadnium seals later this season, but if they blow I think it will be time to go with NX.

My friend spoke to the owner of NX, they are hell bent on beating all other nitrous kits.

They're doing a pretty good job IMO.

Hopefully, I can get a chance to talk with him the next time I go down there. I would like to have a direct line to the top, so I can ***** the next time I break something.
