I haven't had any times when spraying would require having an LSD. I'd go for the nitrous and clutch combo, unless you are a road racing whore.

yea, i'm thinking about using the $800 plus it would cost for the lsd and use it to get the clutch and flywheel put in and start saving for the Nx system.

My bottle is like many others, facing sideways across in that extra area towards the seat. I was going to build a false wall to cover it up. I think the best place would be to put it behind the driver seat, since nobody can fit there anyway. I wish I could, but it wouldn't fit, with my sit in position ( I am 6 feet tall). If you have any question about the NX kit let me know. I just installed mine, and tested it last night. I am very happy with it. The only complaint I have is that I am already dreading running out of the bottle. I used half of it in one night!

Nitrous bottles are designed to either be placed within the provided brackets at the whatever angle it makes, or in a completely upright position. It will be very hard to mount the bottle upright in the trunk, since clearance is an issue, but it is possible within the cabin.

As for hideaway spots, i have mine located under the trunk board but i lost my spare as a result. You can sell the 10 lbs bottle and buy 5 lbs bottles. You might be able to fit one under the board with the spare.

now that's a great idea! but i'm sure the 5lbs. bottle will go by in no time flat!

Idea just sort of popped into my mind right now... I'm not sure what the measurements are on a 5 lbs bottle, but you might be able to make a custom vinyl wrapped glovebox and shove one in there. The box will probably hang lower than normally, and it will take some time to fab, but its a nice hiding spot.

I've heard some people rip out the passenger side airbags and vent channels and mount a 10 lbs bottle under the dash. Thats some really crazy crap, but just some more ideas for ya

A 10lb bottle is a bit over a foot tall and about as big around as a football. Personally I gutted out my entire car(No back seats, no radio, no back speakers, no trunk interior, etc.) and then I just mounted the bottle against the back of the trunk. To hide it I throw a couple drying shammies over it. I'm getting it color matched to my car in sept. when my car goed in to ger the back bumper realigned and resprayed(Damn teenie bopping ditz backed into me). I figure that should hide it well enough. if you wanted to get tricky you could hollow out the back of the backseat, have a machine shop build some custom brackets, and mount a few 5 lb bottles in it. You could mount the bottles vertically, upside down by pulling the siphon tubes out of the bottle.

the passenger airbags/hollow out rear seat

those seem like KILLER ideas! since my drivers airbag is gone, i think the passenger bags are void so i might just rip those out! the back seat back is also a great idea! I'd have to see but if i could just fit 2 five pound bottles along side the spare, i'd rather do that instead of gutting parts of the car up. Thanks guys, keep those thoughts/ideas coming!
