How often to replace plugs and plug wires?

How often should they be replaced? I currently have ZEX plugs. I put them in a year and a half ago when i had the nitrous installed. I still have oem plug wires. What would new plug wires help with? Any info on this would be great.
Thanks

i dont think plug wires are all that important to have, stock ones never seemed to cause a problem. Im curious about when to change plugs too, i would imagine you should look at them and see if they look bad, if so then its time to change.

I wouldn't get aftermarket wires unless you have an ignition to go with it. If you car is properly tuned you don't worry about changing plugs very often. I change mine more often they I should because I usually run one step colder in the summer and stock in the fall/winter.

I change mine at least once a year, but it's only $8 so changing them more often wouldn't hurt the pocket book much.
