The RT/10s, which have 450hp at the crank can run 12.2-12.5, so... you do the math. It's gonna take A LOT!

Yes, a Viper has a much higher top speed than the Lude, but I dont care. Its the 1/4 mile that matters, and a Viper doesnt come close to 170mph in the 1/4. Also, a Prelude is fairly easy to get into the 12's with nitrous, but 11's is where things could get hairy. I think a 200-225 shot could get you there, but with that large of a shot, you will find any weak point in the drivetrain. I want mid 12's, I think thats about as fast as a Prelude can be, and still be street driven. Also, I am not gonna strip it down, would rather be slower and sill have my interior.

Yeah, don't strip anything. That's ghey...

Just out of curiosity, could you show me to a link or a timelip of a street driven Prelude (4th or 5th gen) that runs 12s? I've just never seen one, but yet you talk like it's a common thing. Thanks.

Its not a common thing, owning a Prelude is not a common thing. Owning a prelude and putting money into the engine, a uncommon thing. The new Honda-Tuning has a 4th gen that is spraying 200 shots (assuming he runs 12's), and in the June/July issue there is a Prelude with a 150shots that runs a 12.7 quarter mile, and that with the extra weight of a heavy stereo system. Its not a common thing for a Prelude to run 12's, but what I am saying is that if you want to, and are willing to spend some money, running a 12 second 1/4 mile is a very reachable goal.

Well I decided on a 11:1 compression ratio after talking some things over with a few speed shops, ENDYN, and Nitrous Xpress. I am gunning for 225whp NA, and than another 125 whp on a shot for 350whp total. If this cant garner me high 12's then o well. But I think it should be possible.
