the relay was cheap or the wire was too small for the power going through it....I fried a set of fog lights because the wire was too small.....youll need to pull all the heater wires out and redo the whole thing in bigger better parts. What brand was it?

oh man, I need to grab my decoder glasses

well, to check the heater pad you can hook it up to direct 12v power and see if it warms up. Then trace your wiring back from the heater to find the problem. I would highly suggest putting a fuse on the main feed line if you don't already have one, more than likely it would have prevented this problem. Proper wiring guage is a must too, since heaters pull a lot of amps/wattage (something like 400 watts).

It is also very possible that you blew the element in the heater pad itself.....how long have you had it? Call NX and tell them whats up.....have you used it successfully before?

get the amperage the heater pulls, and put that size of fuse in. My Dynotune bottle heater has a 25 amp fuse, but each company has different power consumptions.
