going turbo to nitrous

i melted a piston @ only 7psi of boost and im selling my turbo setup and going with a NA buildup with a 75 dry shot...would the shot of nitrous be fine running around 11:1 CR (type-s pistons) would they hold up to this? also if i installed forged pistons 11:1 CR and forged rods would a 125 shot be fine?

Yeah....they will hold up, but you will need a timing retarding device. I think that so far I am the only one here with a setup like mine (typeS pistons, crower cams, and NX), and Ive only got 50 miles on the motor so I dont have any numbers....I think there will be no problems with the setup that I have.....I got lotsa fuel and most all parts up to the task, Ill only run a 50 I think though till I get a new ignition (my MSD doesnt have a nitrous retard)

If you are going with a 75 shot you will want a wet kit. You could spray a 75 on a dry kit but you have pretty much reached the limits of it, and anything more could result in motor damage.

Now for a 125 shot you really should look at going DP (direct port), as you will have a lot better distribution. 11:1 CR is doable, just run some colder plugs and do a little timing retard. When running a shot bigger than 75 you really shouldn't cut corners, as more engine damage may result.

Type S pistons are 11:1 but the JDM non type S pistons are 10.6:1

would i be better of with the type-s pistons or forged pistons...do the type-s pistons have weak ringlands like the stock pistons?

Forged pistons would be much better. If you detonate with high compression cast pistons you'll have a new set of ashtrays.
