You can spray a 100 shot on the stock motor if it is healthy. I've heard of 125 from a reputable source, but they make enough money at the races to afford to rebuild it if necessary. Then there is Eu4ik's H23 with a huge shot on it. Hopefully her's holds together well. It has so far.

The basic idea behind building a motor for nitrous is to build an NA motor with slightly less compression than an all out NA motor. Also you can't skimp on valves. Stainless steel valves will be very important.

I'd go with a direct port kit for anything over a 75 shot, but some people don't.

Id keep your compression at about 10:1 for upto 125 shot....and make sure you do go DP for 75 and higher....If I were you I would switch your nitrous and run upto a hundred shot till your car blows up....just to see.....

As far as the valves.....change them if you are doing the head....I am sticking with stockers on a 75 shot and hoping the live....if not you gotta be ready to replace them.....

BTW....I just had my motor built with crower st2 cams and 11:1 CR pistons (10.8:1 due to the fatty cometic head gasket) and I am/will be running a 75....so Ill tell you if it is a recipe for disaster.....

you should be around 330-350 whp with 125 from NX and a few other things.....that should pull you down into the mid 12s.....

Thats why I decided to go with higher CR and less juice.....I cant run the gas all the time so I wanted good all motor performance to go with a fair sized shot.....I am breaking the car in for the next month, contmplating some minor changes, then dynoing her juice and all.....I should have good numbers on and off the juice....you may be able to swing 100 shot on 11:1 CR and still get away with it if you retard the timing....alot of this is still experimental....

If his cr is too high he can run race fuel in a variety of configurations. 11:1 isn't very high though. People are running 13:1 cr in NA motors on pump gas. With tuning and enough timing pulled he should be ok.

What problems would one run into driving daily on a NA motor built for n20 that has 11:1 compression? Like driveability issues or anything? Kris, so you think a CR that high is okay to use with, say a 100 shot, as long as you have the right setup (proper fuel accomodations, timing retard, etc?

That's about what I got 11.5:1 and 100 shot DP. Haven't sprayed yet bec I don't have good enough fuel pump (stock for now). You should be fine with that as a wet shot or dry if you're gonna get a complete fuel sys upgrade.

High compression won't hurt drivability as long as everything is tuned. Huge cams are what make some NA motors hard to drive on the street. 11:1 should be fine with nitrous on pump gas. If it's not, you can definately get away with it by using some VP 103.
