downsides to nitrous

i don't know much about nitrous except that i want it. my engine runs like **** and my ss tranny slips into second. is it safe to put into my car?

Heh, I would say not. Depends on what you mean by 'my engine runs like ****'

If you have any tranny problems, or mechanical problems in general, Nitrous is going to make them worse. Much worse.

Yeah what malken said plus remember with nitrous its all about the installation. Its the most important thing. I wouldn't recomend it if your tranny is already slippin, depending on how big a shot you use it will probably completely wipe out the tranny since its already slippin. Good luck though with whatever you decide to do.
