DO you guys leave your bottle when...

Do you guys usually turn the bottle on when you drive normally or just leave it off and turn it on for special occasions etc...

If you have the bottle on most of the time your driving, does the bottle lose nitrous over a period of time? Im a noob when it comes to this stuff, because i'd hate to not be able to turn the bottle on when your driving when that "one" car comes up and you forgot to turn it on.

I guess a remote bottle opener will solve this porblem but im curious

every time you turn it on, you're going to waste some nitrous. So if you turn it on every time you get in the car, you'll end up wasting a lot of juice.

Yeah, mine is usually closed for day to day driving. A remote bottle opener would be great.

I only leave the bottle open if I am going to spray within 10-15 minutes. If you leave it open all the time I would bet the bottle would be empty after a week. The solenoid will leak some, and it probably isn't good on the noid either.

On the topic of bottle openers, isn't there a mechanical bottle opener that physically opens and closes the valve on the bottle? If so that would work fine and dandy. A solenoid actuated "bottle" opener will still leak and isn't designed for constant pressure on it.

yes, the NX opener is mechanical, it actually opens the valve. It's the one I have.
