colder plugs for nitrous

i swapped out my stock plugs for the NGK ZFR7F-11 plugs, which are 2 steps colder. I was wondering if this would account for worse gas mileage? I'm like getting 30 miles less per tank. Is this normal? Thanks

I honestly don't think I'd notice a loss of 30 miles/tank. The only difference that I noticed was a bit of a loss in power and response with the colder plugs. It's entirely possible that you are lossing some gas mileage, but you'll have to take into account your driving habits during the two tanks in question. If you sprayed alot of drove harder when you lost 30 miles/tank, then I wouldn't put it on the colder plugs. You could try plugs without the -11 on the end as well. They are gapped incorrectly for nitrous anyways.

actually i am using the -11 plugs. And i haven't tried nitrous yet. I just switched the plugs to see what losses i would have before nitrous. I guess it's a lot
