clutches clutches clutches!

well i posted in Gen. Disc about a deal that came to my attention about a brand new ACT 4 puck clutch disk..but i originally wanted to go with a 6 puck so when i'm spraying it'll bite hard...but my question is this...what is everyone running with their n2o setups?

this isn't a thread about recommending me a clutch since i found more than enough when i searched, but i just wanna know what everyone is using.

i'd prefer something that has a FIRM pedal feel. Much more firmer then the stock setup

i know a guy that can hook me up with a Clutch Specialty clutch but i'm not so sure what the quality is with those

oh, and i want to make sure this clutch will hold a 100/80 NOS shot...

I like ACT... If you want the really stiff leg-cramping pedal feel, I say you go with an XT pressureplate for sure. Then match it up with a good disc. I've heard good things about the XTSS combo, but if you want to go for an unsprung disc like the 4 or 6 puck, and are prepared for the loss of drivability, then go for it.

exedy organic. Roasted the hell out of it with a 65 shot. Do not use an exedy organic clutch with nitrous.

Im running Exedy Cerametallic thick pad clutch. Its held good so far, but I havent sprayed on the new motor and clutch setup yet. Its chattery, but fine for street use. Might be iffy for a daily driver though

RPS Stage III for me. It was fine for the whole day I sprayed!
6 puck dual compound, not recomended for street use but loves to be beat on.

Well, I'd say it depends on how it was driven before. We removed my stocker at 95k miles and my wrencher said I could have gone another 20-30k with it. If you learned to drive stick on it, count on it not lasting as long. I would say see how it holds up 1st rather then just dropping the $500+ to replace a GOOD OEM.
