On the bottle, can I adjust this? (PIC)

If you can tell what I am pointing at, I want to know if that is a nut that I can loosen a bit so that my pressure gauge does not face the back of the passenger seat anymore?

Ive tried to adjust it before and it is really tight, any idea on how much weight is needed to budge it??????

That should come off. It shouldn't be too hard, just be careful that you don't shear a fitting off by accident

when you guys fill do you take the big nut off? I always do, just to leave my guage/heater switch in the trunk. But that nut should come off, it is copper so you don't need to torque it much either (left=loose, right=tight). Just don't strip it off, I think you have to buy a whole new siphone tube

how does that nut effect the syphon tube? I tried to take mine off and it is a beotch. Why do you take that nut off to fill it rather than just disconnecting the line? It seems like removing that nut would just be alot harder to do.

You loosen the nut, then turn the fitting to however yo uwant the gauge to be angled, then tighten the nut again.

That's not the nut for the blowdown tube is it? If it is make sure that the bottle is empty before you mess with it.

no i am almost positive it is not that nut. I think it is like what Zmonkey said, it is meant for adjustment, but I wanted to make sure.

Yes you can play with the big nut!!!!

I'd just loosen it to make your guage straight, thats what I did a long time ago.
