better for nitrous-USDM or Type S?

Which engine would be best for a 100 shot of nitrous? Can you run that big of a shot on a Type-s engine (thinking of the higher comp. ratios), or would it be easier to build up my USDM? What upgrades (if any) would be required to run that kind of boost on a Type s, and would it even be worth it?

they will be very comparable. the typeS is going to have a higher compression ratio but it isn't by a massive amount. However, the typeS does have a lot of small subtle changes and will produce more power N/A and on the bottle. It would be cheaper to build up a USDM H22 and throw a nice set of cams on it rather than shell out big bucks for the over hyped typeS.

with a 100 crank hp shot you can get away with running a single fogger, 2 step colder plugs and a good fuel. You could also get an ignition and retard your timing, allowing you to run 1 step colder plugs.

cool, that's what I was thinking... I guess the valve cover is cheaper than the whole engine!
