Alright... the time has come...

Alright, well the time has come for me to do a few upgrades to the motor.

Here's what I am thinking:

NOS Direct Port Kit (100 shot)
ACT Clutch
Fidenza Flywheel
Walboro 255lph Fuel Pump
NOS Progressive Controller
MSD Ignition
Drag Radials

Do you think it will hold? What would the advantage of going to the NOSzle kit be, and is it even out yet for anything but the Mustang?

TIA

You'll kill the NOS noids after one run with the progressive controller. Not even the teflon seals in their larger noids can handle the abuse of a progressive controller. If you want to go with a progressive controller go with the NX unit and the NX direct port kit.
Secondly, you'll need a second nitrous noid to go between your bottle and your primary nitrous noid. This will save your motor if the nitrous noid that is running off of the progressive controller dies while you are spraying and locks open. If your fuel noid locks open life will go on.
Third, aluminum flywheels have bent before due to nitrous. People have ran them with success, but there is no reason to risk it. Hit up rsmachines.com. Last I checked they made a nice chromoly flywheel for under 350.

Get a strong clutch. That's all I've got to say. Make sure that sucker holds.
BFG drag radials all the way.
The motor will hold fine as long as it is healthy.
Don't a purge noid and a bottle heater.
Which ignition were you looking at getting?

Dont expect your motor to live through very many 100 shot runs.....thats pushing the envelope a bit far on stock pistons.....

If there is enough fuel I feel pretty safe with it. That isn't that much of an increase over the 75 that numerous guys are running.

For a clutch I am looking at an ACT HDSS.

As for an ignition, I was gonna throw an MSD DIS system in... hell I know I have one around her somewhere from my GTP... I just gotta find it

As for for purge and heater, those are in the basement.

Thanks for all your help.

There comes a point where regardless of how well its tuned its still gonna break....the h bottom end isnt made to hold 300+ whp.....there arent any ones that I know of out there making that power that are still on stock pistons and rods....you will eventually spin rod bearings and stuff....FI guys have shown that for us......but anyhoo, its your motor....good luck youll probably have alot of power with that 100 shot.....
