AEM Fuel Rail

well, i just bought an AEM fuel rail, and was wondering how this was gonna help me. will this decrease my risks of detonation?im guessing it will just get more fuel into the car and make it run more rich? i didn't pay anything for the fuel rail, so i figure i will slap it on if it helps my car run better on the bottle...

EDIT: ALSO, I AM RUNNING A DRY KIT, NOT WET... will the fuel rail help me at all?

A fuel rail will do nothing for you performance wise. If you were running a wet kit you would be able to pull your fuel from the rail for the nozzle. You won't run any richer with a fuel rail, that is all dependent on injector size, fuel pressure and your ecu.

It won't do anything for you at this point. Basically, by upgrading to the AEM fuel rail you removed a potential bottleneck, which you would have most likely never reached anyways.
